Who is The Coalition?
The Coalition for Reliable Energy advocates the need for reliable and affordable electric power for Northern Virginia, the economic engine of the Commonwealth. Anchored by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, the Coalition is composed of businesses – large and small – and individuals across Northern Virginia who are committed to playing a role in reducing electrical energy consumption and ensuring that the region’s supply of electricity remains uninterrupted.
The Coalition supports and promotes energy conservation as well as long term planning, including the need for additional transmission infrastructure to bring electricity to the region. The Coalition, with Dominion Virginia Power as an active and integral partner, will provide the business community and general public with energy conservation tips and information on important upcoming state regulatory decisions that will affect Northern Virginia’s future and how each of us can do our part to preserve and grow our vibrant community.
